1. Template
The template is the main part of an injection mold, usually composed of an upper template and a lower template. The upper and lower templates are accurately positioned through components such as guide pillars and sleeves, forming a closed mold cavity space. The template needs to have sufficient stiffness and accuracy to ensure the stability of the mold cavity and the quality of the finished product.
2. Guide pillar and guide sleeve
The guide pillar and guide sleeve are positioning parts in the mold, which ensure the precise positioning of the upper and lower templates. The guide pillar is installed on the template, and the guide sleeve is fixed on the fixed plate or lower template. When the mold is closed, the guide pillar and guide sleeve can prevent mold deviation or deformation, thereby ensuring the accuracy and quality of the product.
3. Fixed and movable boards
The fixed board and the movable board are connected above and below the template respectively. The fixed plate can withstand the weight of the template and provide stable support, while also providing installation positions for components such as the movable plate and ejection device. The movable plate can move relative to the fixed plate to inject plastic into the mold cavity or eject the product.
4. Nozzle
The function of the nozzle is to inject molten plastic into the mold cavity, forming the final product. The nozzle is located at the entrance of the mold and is usually made of steel or copper alloy. Under slight squeezing pressure, plastic material enters the mold cavity through a nozzle, filling the entire space, and ultimately forming the product.
