Precautions for processing the inclined top mechanism of plastic molds

Time:2024-01-09Views:1

1) In general, the ejection distance of the inclined top of a plastic mold is not very long, and it is easy to break. Plastic molds that can achieve fully automated production have a longer inclined top ejection distance than semi-automatic part picking. In order to prevent uneven force on the robotic arm during part picking, resulting in uneven force during picking.

Fully automated ejection distance=product height (H)+safety value (K) 5.00-10.00mm; The ejection distance of semi-automatic production=product height (H) X (2/3)

2) The angle range of the inclined top is 3 °~15 °, and the optimal range is 3 °~8 °. When the inclined top angle is greater than 12 °, in addition to considering strength, auxiliary rods need to be added to prevent deformation and fracture of the plastic mold inclined top due to excessive torque during the production process.

3) The most common phenomenon of product sticking to the inclined top in production is to increase the demolding angle of the product. When designing, excessive ribs should be avoided on the inclined top of the plastic mold.

4) The inclined top rod should not be too thin. For small workpieces, the thickness of the inclined top z should be as small as 3.00mm. For workpieces larger than 500.00mm, the thickness of the inclined top z should not be less than 25.00mm to prevent deformation and fracture of the plastic mold inclined top due to excessive torque during production.

5) The plastic mold inclined top belongs to a type of ejection mechanism, used for ejecting products. In areas with inclined tops at the same position, there is no need to place the top, avoiding interference between the inclined top and ejection. Simulation verification is required for the interference between the inclined top and ejection.

6) In injection molding production, the most feared problems are the twisting and deformation of the inclined top, as well as the fracture of the root. In the design process, the tilt angle and distance of the plastic mold inclined top, the material and size of the inclined top, and the design of the inclined top will all have an impact on the inclined top. Due to its easily damaged structure, it should be carefully repaired and replaced during injection molding production to avoid hidden dangers such as the front mold slanting top not retracting and the slanting top running rough edges.
